Updated: 23 September 2020
We're so happy to be able to welcome you to dine with us again but safety remains our top priority, so we have introduced new processes with you and our wonderful team in mind.
Firstly, we want to make sure that our guests and our team are staying safe so we'll be taking temperature checks at our door from Monday 28th September. From Thursday 24th September, you will also be required to wear a face covering when you are not seated - which means we'll need you to wear one when entering and moving around the restaurant.
We've gone digital so scan the QR code when you dine to view all our menus. Of course we'll still have single use, disposable paper menus should you prefer. We also request that you pay via contactless payment.
We've adapted our menu to allow for distancing in our kitchens (don't worry, we've made sure to keep as many of your favourites as possible) and our team on the floor will be regularly cleaning and limiting interactions with our new floor plan. All of our team will be wearing masks.
In line with Government regulations we'll be closing at 10:00pm. Our last booking is available at 8:30pm but we'll be taking walk-ins until 9:00pm. It's important that all guests have left by 10:00pm, so please don't be too alarmed should we provide your bill a little earlier than expected.

Most of our locations have stunning summer terraces which we've extended to allow for outdoor dining (weather permitting), however please note that these are allocated on a first come, first served basis. We understand that some of you might be choosing to remain at home a little while longer, so we're pleased to say that you will still be able to order from Deliveroo if you're one of our locals, and of course you can order our freshly roasted craft coffee to get a taste of the Caravan experience wherever you are.
How are you maintaining physical distancing? We have adjusted our layout in the restaurant to allow for 1m+ between seated tables. We have added floor markings to direct guests and our team in a one-way system and are also following distancing in our kitchens.
How regularly are you cleaning surfaces? We have a dedicated COVID-19 cleaner who is sanitising all surfaces and touch points every 30 minutes.
How are you ensuring staff are safe? We have allowed for a safe level of staffing to adhere to physical distancing with each member of our team overseeing a fixed section of the restaurant. Health checks, including temperature checks, are carried out on all our team members before they start every shift.
Do I need to book? If you’re popping in without a reservation, that’s fine!
In line with Government requirements, all members of the dining party should check-in in as being present in the restaurant via the QR provided by one of our team or by scanning the NHS QR code at the entrance of the restaurant. This is retained for a minimum of 21 days to assist with the NHS Test & Trace Scheme. We also request that you respect physical distancing should you be required to wait for a table.
What is the largest table I can book? We are currently accepting bookings up to 6 people. Our last booking is available at 20:30 to ensure we can close the restaurant at 22:00 in line with Government restrictions.
Can I sit outside or on a specific table? We are lucky to have glorious outdoor areas where guests can dine in the open air, although we typically offer these first come, first served on the day (the British weather can be a bit unpredictable!). Please ask a member of the team if you would prefer to sit outdoors, however we cannot guarantee availability. Alternatively we will be taking limited booking for some of the outdoor tables at Caravan City as these are covered so more dependable when the heavens open.
Can I book a table just for drinks? We won’t be seating guests at our bar areas for the time being and we don't take bookings just for drinks, but you’re welcome to pop by to check if we have space for a few drinks.
Are staff wearing face masks? As per Government Guidelines we are requiring the use of face masks within our restaurants where possible (allowing for exemptions).
Why are you only accepting contactless payments? To help keep our team safe we’re limiting guest interactions through introducing digital menus and asking that all guests pay via contactless payment.
Can I speak to you about private dining and events? We’re currently accepting future bookings on an ad-hoc basis depending on requirements and on-going Government guidelines. Please contact India and Puja at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 0203 963 8500 to discuss.
